1. The Official Confirmation Letter will be mailed to the applicant by WBR once all the above steps are completed.
2. To attempt the record, the applicant has to pass through WBR Attempt Protocol for receiving the provisional certificate, which will be generated on the date of attempt.
3. For receiving the final certificate, the applicant must produce all the evidence of record attempt.
4. The final certificate of WBR along with the magazine and medal will be awarded to the applicant either in WBR award ceremony or in an award ceremony organized by the applicant.
5. The record will be featured in WBR magazine, www.worldbookofrecords.uk and www.wbrlive.uk. For this, the applicant must provide high-resolution pictures with the final certificate within one week of receiving the certificate.
6. The applicant will receive two copies of WBR magazine along with the membership certificate of ALMA World.
Any attempt that is successfully accepted as having broken and/or set a record can be awarded an exclusive WBR certificate in recognition of the achievement. It is at WBR sole discretion which records are accepted to be published in The World Book of Records. Editorial decisions of WBR are final.
Every single record checked at India's World Records has a bunch of explicit rules. Our rules detail the guidelines that should be kept while endeavoring the record and the proof that should be given. The rules guarantee that the record is standardisable and undeniable. At the end of the day the rules let you know how it should be done and what you really want to submit to us to demonstrate it!
1. Make your record-breaking experience event an unforgettable event. Use of the IWR’s logo is strictly prohibited in any way possible. You can use the "India's World Records" name in Banners at media release or event with prior permission while taking an attempt.
2. Approval or disapproval of any attempt and certification will be wholly and solely the decision of the IWR team.
3. Record approval and certification process may take 1-2 business working days as per normal processing.
4. At least 2 witnesses should be present at the time of attempting the record.
5. Record Claiming evidences should be e-mailed @ indiasworldrecords@gmail.com clearly mentioning the Applicant’s Name, Address and Contact Details & Record Description as well. Few Photographs related to record, Video of record attempt and media coverage (if available).
6. The Image, Photographs & documents provided should not be blurry, improper or edited. The image should be of minimum of 200-300 ppi. In measurement related records the measurement should be seen clearly visible. Make sure the image is as clear as possible of it can lead to disapproval of the record claim.
7. Video evidences is necessary for every record attempt or every record claim. The video required should be of minimum 1280×720 resolution in mp4 format. The video should presentable with proper light and proper location. Please choose the location wisely before recording an attempt, any type of disturbance in the video will not be approved. In time related video the time should be clearly visible throughout the video and should be accurate, under no circumstances the timer should be stopped until the record attempt is over. The audio should be as clear as possible.
8. Claim will be accepted and approved only after all the evidences are submitted as per required and verified by the concerned department.
9. The kids who are under 18 will be considered in Young Achievers category. Proof of age must be submitted along with the record claim. Children below 18 should be assisted by parents while taking an record attempt.
10. India's World Records does not promote/support any record attempt which is injurious or dangerous for any person, group, society or any living being. Such attempts are not allowed.
